Busy Weekend

I had a really busy weekend. I just finished 6 new small paintings, to send to Koyman's Art Gallery. Here's three of them. I really like the "Duet on the Rideau" one, I think I should redo it as a 48x48 painting.
Jazz "In Session" (10x12)
Duet on the Rideau (12x12)

Influencial Horn (6x12)

Heart of the City

I just participated in a charity event called "Heart of the City", in Cornwal, ON. I had the evening to make an original painting, and at the end they auctioned it off. It was really quite fun. I finished about 10 minutes before the auction, so I even had time to have a little dessert. Here is the painting that I produced, photographed with it's new owners (Ron Chenier and his wife).

The Band has Arrived

This is currently one of my favorite paintings. It's called "The Band has Arrived" (30x60). The background is inspired by Chicago.

Bytown Boogie

Here is a picture of "Bytown Boogie" (40"x72"). I got my inspiration from the Ottawa Tulip Festival and the Ottawa Jazz Festival. In the background, you can see Canada's Parliament buildings and the Chateau Laurier.
